CGS Dynamic/Wet Fan Scrubbers - I, II, III
Wet Fan Scrubbers are ideal for medium energy scrubbing applications. These types of units provide virtually maintenance free service. Fine dust particles are captured by a self-cleaning wet fan providing an overall collection efficiency of 99% for particles larger than 1 micron. The scrubbing liquid is introduced into the eye of the fan wheel, which sweeps clean the fan blades and also forms an abrasion barrier for long equipment life. Utilization of an open paddle wheel design avoids build-up problems. Clean saturated gases are then discharged into a cyclonic separator where separation of gases and free liquid droplets take place. The slurry is discharged into the bottom and the dewatered, scrubbed gases are exhausted vertically via the top outlet. CGS offers three standard types of Wet Fan Scrubbers as depicted below. Custom designed units to suit your process and layout requirements can also be provided
|
Dynascrub I
This scrubber features a self cleaning wet fan and a conventional cyclonic mist separator. It is ideal for applications with low inlet dust loadings and/or oil mist. |
|
Dynascrub II
For higher dust loadings, it's extra heavy duty construction, preliminary collection chamber with scrubbing vanes, liquid spray header or multi-venturi inlet followed by a self cleaning wet fan has made this unit the choice of many customers. This unit provides longer residence time and helps achieve high gaseous pollutant removal without the need for packed tower section. For installations where headroom is limited, you may consider our DYNASCRUB III. |
Dynascrub III
This unit is 40% shorter than our DYNASCRUB II or similar units. It utilizes our unique multi-venturi deck as a preliminary collector. Dust laden gases enter the unit and are directed through the multi-venturi deck where the liquid is introduced co-currently with the gas steam utilizing low pressure, large orifice nozzles. Larger particles are captured here and slurry is discharged through the bottom of the flooded elbow. Remaining fine dust particles are captured by the self cleaning wet fan. |
